As part of Oriental Weavers’ ongoing commitment to attracting top technical talent and elevating the quality of technician hiring, our Talent Acquisition team visited the Sewedy Technical Academy on Thursday, July 17, 2025. The visit centered on exploring collaboration opportunities in technician training programs, participation in career fairs, and initiatives to attract skilled and experienced technicians to join our growing team. We’re proud to unveil the OW Haptech Store—the world’s first phygital carpet retail store—located in Mivida, New Cairo. Merging tactile sensory craftsmanship with advanced immersive technology, the 250m² store allows customers to see, feel, and even co-customize carpets in real time using AI and interactive tools. From full-scale design previews on the floor to personalized rug creation in the OW Studio, this space redefines how we connect with our homes. With a presence in more than 118 countries, the store also features a limited collection of internationally sourced pieces, ready for cash and carry.

We are pleased to announce contracting with Integrated Renewable & Sustainable Communities (IRSC), a leader in renewable energy solutions, to install a 2.5 MWp solar power plant at Oriental Weavers International, the largest manufacturing facility in the group, in 10th of Ramadan City. This project represents a major leap in our commitment toward sustainability and our decarbonization strategy.
