Oriental Weavers Group (OW), the world’s largest carpets, rugs, and related raw materials producer, has proudly been awarded the ‘Green Collection Award’ for its unprecedented sustainable collection showcased at DOMOTEX fair, the world leading trade show for carpets and floor coverings, taking place in Hannover, Germany from 12 to 15 January 2023.
Oriental Weavers’ green collection for this year’s edition features the Baduhi Machine-Woven Collection which is made from natural wool fiber to last for many years, the Mojave Machine-Woven Collection is made using durable recycled polyester yarn to provide an extremely safe and eco-friendly product for modern homes, as well as Puro Machine-Woven Collection that is made of 100% recycled cotton fiber which works to help reduce the impact on earth.
For over 30 years, OW has been keen on participating in the DOMOTEX event, bringing a coordinated roomscape of products for floor, seating, and wall coverings. By launching the Group’s Green Collection, Oriental Weavers reaffirms its unwavering support for sustainability and the environment. In line with this year’s theme, entitled ‘Floored by Nature’, the Group has developed and introduced rugs and carpets that are made from eco-friendly material. Thus, utilizing clean energy sources throughout Oriental Weavers’ operations and product offerings.
